The author created this list through a summary of various reconstructions from different language families, where the most frequent concepts have been included. The goal was to create a conceptlist that includes a large amount of concepts that are very likely to include cognates across languages that are hypothesized to be genetically related. It was not possible to find a detailed list on the lists that have been used to arrive at this subset of concepts.
